Established in 1999, NPP is a specialised commercial property management company.
We manage medium sized commercial and retail properties on the North Shore, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. Often these assets are too small or specialised for large commercial real estate agents who will allocate a junior resource to manage them, and too large for local real estate agents who specialise in residential management and can't optimise value for a commercial property.
Whereas commercial agents typically focus on sales and leasing, with property management often seen as a low margin necessity to their overall offering, we specifically focus on commercial property management.
We provide a rare opportunity to fill the market gap between large agents and local agents, with very senior personnel overseeing your investment. Our 3 partners have all run state and national teams and commercial portfolios, sometimes in the hundreds of properties, and with individual property values under management in some cases exceeding $1bn. Importantly, we have the experience and knowledge to be able to add value to your assets.

We have worked at the major commercial real estate agencies. We know how they work with their clients. Our aim is to bridge the gap and provide owners a much more personalised property management experience. We see you as a partner and will keep you closely appraised with the progress of your property. More importantly, the combined experience of the NPP team in major property asset management, global real estate analysis, and advisory means we know what drives value to real estate assets.
The partners all live on the North Shore, and have decades of experience covering the Sydney markets. Our focus is on servicing non CBD markets in Sydney where investors have important office and retail assets requiring specialised management. Major agents tend to focus on the CBD markets with often limited resourcing to smaller assets and markets. Local residential agents are typically ill equipped and inexperienced in managing commercial properties to maximise the owners value. Our aim is to fill this clear void.
Managing a building is much more than collecting rent. Adding value for the vendor is about knowing how to structure leases to maximise property value, and optimising tenancy mix. We know how fitouts and make goods are best optimised. Correct structuring of lease incentives can add meaningful value. We have worked as licenced commercial real estate valuers with the major firms and know what drives asset valuations. We intimately know owners who hold tens of billions of dollars of real estate, and have visited many of their numerous assets across the globe with these landlords. Our senior team have experience few if any can compare with. After reaching the top of the Corporate ladder in their fields, our partners have combined to allow NPP to fill a distinct opportunity in the Commercial real estate market.
Simon has global real estate experience covering all real estate sectors. He initially worked for Jones Lang LaSalle in property management and institutional valuations, and has also been a top rated Australian real estate equities analyst and headed international equity research based in New York for Goldman Sachs JB Were. Additionally Simon has run real estate Investment Banking for Australia and New Zealand for Goldman Sachs. He has been deeply involved with management and advisory of the largest real estate owners globally for over two decades.
Annette is a highly experienced commercial real estate professional who has specialisation in running and managing large property portfolios for the likes of Australia Post, NSW Police, Telstra, and the NSW Government and has worked for UGL and State Authorities Superannuation Board managing their statewide and national real estate mandates. Annette has significant lease management optimisation focus and long term experience on client relationships driven by reducing costs and growing returns.
Kim has over 25 years commercial real estate industry experience. She has worked with multi national agents such as Jones Lang LaSalle and Knight Frank, running major commercial, industrial and retail portfolios. She has also worked directly for owners, managing complex multi billion dollar shopping centres around the world. Most recently Kim headed a large team running an 800 asset national property portfolio. Kims expertise is in negotiating lease terms to benefit the owner and she also has extensive knowledge and experience in facilities management (HVAC, lifts,etc.) as well as been responsible for rental budgets exceeding $100m p.a. and has overseen and run numerous major and minor tenant fitouts. She has also run major property redevelopments and expansions.

Fees are a small expense which pale into insignificance relative to the value and income upside from a properly managed asset and optimised lease structure.
